INGREDIENTS:

½ kilo Beef (sukiyaki cut)

2 tablespoons Calamansi or lemon juice

5 tablespoons Soy sauce

¼ teaspoon Salt

¼ teaspoon Ground black pepper

½ cup Oil

1 piece Onion (julienne cut)

1 piece Small cabbage


DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Marination

  • In a mixing bowl, combine beef, calamansi juice, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Massage and ensure the beef is evenly coated.

  • Marinate the beef for just 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.


Step 2: Sear Marinated Beef

  • Heat a pan and add oil. Set the heat to high. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the marinated beef.

  • Stir from time to time to ensure even cooking until the beef is fully cooked, then take it out from the pan and set aside.


Step 3: Sauté Onions

  • In the same pan, lower the heat to medium and sauté onions until translucent.


Step 4: Stir-Fry Cabbage

  • Add the sliced cabbage to the pan and stir-fry until the cabbage reaches the desired tenderness.


Step 5: Combine and Finish

  • Once the cabbage is cooked, turn off the heat and reintroduce the cooked beef to the pan. Mix everything well to combine the flavors.
