INGREDIENTS:

  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour

  • 3 tablespoons Butter

  • 1 piece Onion (finely chopped)

  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)

  • 1 Beef bouillon cube

  • 2 cups Water

  • 1 teaspoon Ground black pepper

  • ¼ cup Milk 

  • ½ teaspoon Soy sauce


DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Prepare the Roux

  • In a medium-heat pan, toast the all-purpose flour until it turns light brown. Set it aside.


Step 2: Sauté Aromatics

  • In another pan, melt the butter and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until they become fragrant and translucent.


Step 3: Create the Base

  • Add the toasted flour to the pan with the onions and garlic, stirring constantly to form a smooth roux.


Step 4: Gradually Add Liquid and Flavor

  • While stirring continuously, gradually pour in the water to the roux to avoid lumps. Bring it to a gentle boil.

  • Once boiling, add the beef bouillon cube and ground black pepper. 

  • Stir until the beef cube dissolves completely, infusing the gravy with rich flavor.

  • Pour in the milk and mix well until combined.
