INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup Cornstarch

  • 1 cup Water

  • 2 cups (400g) Coconut cream (Coconut milk)

  • 2 cups (360g) Evaporated milk

  • 1 cup (300g) Condensed milk

  • 1 ½ cups (340g) Macapuno (Coconut sport, optional)

  • 1 ½ cups (250g) Corn kernels

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/4 cup Butter 

  • 1 cup Cheese (grated)


DIRECTIONS:

Step 1: Preparing the Mixture

  • In a pot, combine cornstarch and water. Stir until the cornstarch is dissolved.

  • Add coconut milk, evaporated milk, condensed milk and a pinch of salt. Mix well until thoroughly combined.


Step 2: Cooking the Mixture

  • Place the pot over medium heat. Gently and continuously stir the mixture to prevent lumps from forming.

  • When the mixture starts to get gooey, add the macapuno (optional) and corn kernels, mix and continue stirring gently.

  • Cook the mixture until it thickens, ensuring it is smooth and creamy.


Step 3: Incorporating Butter

  • Once the mixture has thickened, turn off the heat.

  • Add the butter to the mixture and stir until completely melted and evenly distributed.
